Job Description

Selectek is looking for a Sr. Substation Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in Lombard, IL immediately. This candidate will be responsible for managing a team to drive deliverables, quality, schedule, and profitability on projects.

Required by Client
  • 9 or more years of experience in Electric Utility Engineering, focusing on Substation and/or Distribution.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Experienced with AutoCAD software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with Duke Energy, Georgia Power, or ComED.
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client
  • Client interaction and management of a team of over 10 members.
  • Responsible for proposal preparation and reviews.
  • Deliver reports on project milestones, scope, budget forecasts, analyses, and schedules.
  • Familiarity with IEEE codes and standards, along with experience in PSEG, PEPCO, or NYPA standards.
  • Oversee project schedules and budgets.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.

Pay Rate: $130k - $165k
Term: Direct Hire
