Job Description

Selectek is looking for a Software Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in Alpharetta, GA immediately. This candidate will be responsible for writing C/C++ in an embedded Linux-based environment and play a key role in developing software for our industry leading products.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5 or more years of experience in developing embedded software for electronic devices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in C/C++ programming within an embedded Linux environment, utilizing a gcc-based toolset.
  • Familiarity with low-level protocols such as I2C and SPI.
  • Strong skills in object-oriented programming and experience with design patterns.
  • Proficiency with GitLab and VMware, or comparable tools, is essential.
  • Experience in setting up a Linux-based IoT system is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to excel in a team setting.
  • Experience with shell scripting and automation is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs is an added plus.
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Pay Rate: $120k - $140k
Term: Direct Hire
