Selectek is searching for Telecom Site Acquisition Specialist for GA and Central to Northern Florida to manage, coordinate and complete real estate activities for acquiring new wireless telecommunication sites and to modify existing sites.
Job description
Site Identification – Coordinate with multiple disciplines, including engineers, project managers and field agents, to collect site candidate information and assemble Site Candidate Information Packages (SCIPs) for clients. SCIP preparation includes jurisdictional research including zoning code, zoning maps, and public ownership records; preparation of zoning analyses, and identifying candidate sites based on zonability, constructability, and owner motivation. Assist researching utility providers; and attending site walks.Â
2. Site Acquisition – Negotiate and facilitate the completion of all necessary tasks and documents to ensure a properly executed lease, Lease Amendment, License, ROW and/or Easement Agreement(s)Â
3. Land Use Entitlements – Preparing and processing of all necessary Community Development and Public Works applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of acquiring all necessary Land Use EntitlementsÂ
4. Documentation – Obtain and review environmental reports, leasing, zoning and permitting documents; construction drawings; and structural analyses in order to prepare and submit applications and packages for new sites, collocations, and lease amendmentsÂ
5. Project Coordination – Order services and facilitate timelines and expectations to ensure the completion of all site acquisition field and engineering tasks across multiple sites simultaneously. Facilitate critical communications between relevant parties and regularly inform clients of site status. Client facing and responsible for all client communications necessary to execute assigned work tasks.Â
6. Project Management – Manages resources, timelines, expectations, and processes necessary to complete various tasks within the site acquisition process on time and within budget. Facilitates critical communications to management, landowners, contractors, clients, internal project and program management and any other relevant parties on a defined basis. Manages site acquisition Vendors and assigned Departmental resources. Responsible for the project financials of assigned projects.Â
7. Quality Control – Review and verify due diligence materials and deliverables throughout the acquisition process.Â
Required experience:
7 plus years of experience real estate site acquisition in wireless industry
•   Create and Assembly SCIPs – Site Candidate Information Packages
•   Negotiate and facilitate the completion of all necessary tasks and document to ensure executed lease, lease amendments and ROW and Easement agreements
•   Prepare Land Use Entitlements – prepare and process community development and public works applications and supporting documents for acquiring Land Use Entitlements
•   Review environmental, leasing, zoning, permitting and construction drawing for new sites, colocation and lease amendments
•   Project manager experience
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Experience in Microsoft Products (word, excel)
•   Ability to Travel in GA and Central and North Florida
•   Experience reading and understanding Architectural and Engineering drawing and Structural analysis
Pay:Â $35-$41/hr.
Location:Â Remote, but need to be located in GA or FL due to travel requirements
Travel:Â 50%
