Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Acquisition/Permitting Specialist to join our team and support the IL/WI market. This role involves managing candidate selection, lease negotiations, tower owner applications, zoning, and permitting processes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling high-volume, fast-paced projects, with a strong understanding of new site builds and modification projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage high volumes of site modification applications, leasing, and permitting activities.
  • Navigate through top tower owner portals, process applications, and manage required documents such as purchase orders and check requests.
  • Coordinate with landowners and clients during lease negotiation processes to obtain fully executed agreements.
  • Negotiate lease terms, rent, and prepare comprehensive lease document packages, detailing negotiations and deal points for the client.
  • Travel to sites and work in designated areas as needed.
  • Take sites through permitting and zoning processes, ensuring compliance with local ordinances and zoning codes.
  • Provide status updates on all assigned sites, preparing for weekly customer and internal meetings.
  • Coordinate with other managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project quality.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in project and deployment meetings, as directed by the Site Acquisition Manager.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of related experience in site acquisition, permitting, and lease negotiation.
  • Extensive experience with permitting and new site builds (search rings).
  • Familiarity with tower owner application processes and high-volume project management.
  • Ability to forecast and manage site acquisition processes for both new builds and modification projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain issues.
  • US Citizenship or ability to work for any US employer without visa sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of all mandatory company certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of lease reviews and tower loading processes.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to travel as needed based on project requirements.
  • Remote position based in Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Job Title: Site Acquisition/Permitting Specialist (IL/WI Market)

Location: Remote – Central or Eastern Time Zone
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible hours, open to starting as early as 6:30 a.m.)
Work from Home: Yes
Compensation: $38.46 per hour
