About the Role

Selectek is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and roundabout projects. You’ll lead design using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer (ORD), mentor junior staff, and coordinate with agencies across Georgia.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as senior project engineer for roadway, sidewalk/shoulder, and drainage design.

  • Lead plan production (geometry, signing & pavement marking, MOT/staging, erosion control).

  • Prepare opinions of cost, reports, and technical documentation.

  • Coordinate with GDOT and local municipalities to ensure compliance with standards/specs.

  • Review, QA/QC, and mentor junior engineers/designers.

  • Partner with PMs and clients on scope, schedule, and deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

  • PE license (GA preferred).

  • BS in Civil Engineering (or Civil Engineering Technology).

  • 15+ years of transportation/roadway design experience, including roundabouts.

  • Proficiency with MicroStation V8i/InRoads and OpenRoads Designer (ORD); AutoCAD a plus.

  • Familiarity with GDOT Plan Development Process and Georgia local projects.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Hiring Process

  • Base: Target ~$110k–$130k+ DOE (flexible up to ~$140k for exceptional profiles; do not anchor on top end).

  • Bonuses: Annual bonus eligibility; potential sign-on bonus.

  • Interviews: Virtual (Teams)? Onsite (strong indicator of fit).

 

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: ~3 days onsite / ~2 days remote)
Type: Direct Hire | Base Salary: ~$110,000–$130,000+ DOE (flexible for strong experience)
Sponsorship: Open to H-1B (case-by-case)
