Job Description

Senior Plumbing Engineer being sought after in Sarasota, Florida.

Pay Rate: $115,000 - $150,000

Required:
  • BSME
  • 15+ years of experience as a plumbing engineer working on commercial projects
  • Knowledge of pertinent building codes and associated engineering design practices
  • Prior experience leading/mentoring junior engineers
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD
  • Proficiency using Revit

Job Description:
  • Provide leadership for plumbing/fire protection engineering team
  • Design and layout of engineering drawings within the Plumbing and Fire Protection specialties.
  • Preparation of complete Plumbing and Fire Protection calculations including water supply, storm drainage, and equipment sizing.
  • Design Plumbing systems including sanitary waste and vent, storm water, domestic water distribution systems and natural gas distribution systems.
  • Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment.
  • Design and select fire protection systems and equipment.
