Job Description

Selectek has an architectural design build client who is looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer. A background with commercial interiors is important, but projects may also include work for retail, hospitality, financial, and corporate offices.

Required:
  • 10+ years of experience as an interior designer for commercial projects
  • Experience in all areas of interior work such as space planning, interior architecture, finish selection, furniture specification, construction documents (AutoCAD), custom millwork/cabinetry designs and details
  • Bachelor’s Degree in interior design
  • AutoCAD proficiency

Preferred:
  • NCIDQ Certification Preferred
  • CET Commercial Interiors software experience

Job order details:
The person will act as an Interior Project Leader. This person will be taking projects from start to finish as well as overseeing more junior designers.  Work will include the creation and selection of space planning, interior architecture, finish selection, furniture specification, construction documents (AutoCAD), custom millwork/cabinetry designs and details

Sponsorship: No
Pay range: $38/hour - $48/hour ($79,000 - $100,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months temp to perm
Pay method when direct: Salary, no OT Pay
Hours and shift: M-F 8am-5pm flex start time of about an hour
Work from home:  Not an option while on contract. As they grow into the role and go direct, working from home a couple days a week may be possible. It will depend on the candidate and how they do. Most of their employees have earned this right and do work from home a couple days a week. (usually in the office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and work from home Wed/Fri)
Working remote: Not an option
Overtime expected: no
Travel: none
Work attire: Business casual
