Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our client in Charlotte, NC.

Required:
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Revit proficiency
  • Able to work independently and with minimal direction from management or senior design team members, design and draft building engineering systems as required to provide information for owners, architects, and contractors to budget, bid, and construct code compliant projects for a wide range of building types including new construction and renovations
  • Able to design, develop and maintain electrical systems for buildings, transport systems and power distribution networks
  • A thorough working knowledge of current building codes, engineering design practices, and design and drafting tools
  • Able to provide leadership for junior and senior designers, and junior
  • Engineers to promote growth and development in the best interest of the company
  • Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Deal with nonverbal. symbolism (e.g., formulas and equations) in difficult phases. Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Familiar with residential, corporate, commercial, institutional, governmental, industrial, health care, religious, athletic, educational, and entertainment fields – planning and design.  
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience

Preferred:
  • LEED Certification
  • Software Experience with AutoCAD Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
  • Display a keen enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Pay range: $100,000 - $150,000
Location: Charlotte, NC
