Job Description


We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in power system analysis to lead and support complex electrical engineering efforts for industrial projects. This role will serve as a technical expert, mentor junior staff, and ensure code-compliant, constructible designs in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering tasks across multiple projects from concept through design.

  • Prepare complete design packages including drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for power distribution systems.

  • Perform or oversee power system analysis using ETAP and/or SKM.

  • Develop project schedules, estimates, and scopes for assigned work.

  • Provide technical mentorship and oversight to junior engineers and designers.

  • Support departmental planning and contribute to improving processes and standards.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, including NFPA 70 and 49 CFR 195.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 10+ years of electrical engineering experience for industrial projects.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in power system analysis using ETAP or SKM (both preferred).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Preferred Industry Experience (not required):

  • Truck loading/unloading racks

  • Tank farms and pump stations

  • Pipeline facilities

Additional Info:

  • Background check: Focused on felonies

  • Drug screen: 10-panel

  • Travel: Occasional
  • No remote work while on contract; hybrid may be allowed upon direct hire

Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30009
Term: 6-month temp-to-direct (direct hire considered)
Pay Range: $55–$64.90/hr (target salary up to $135K upon conversion)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (flexible by 1 hour)
Onsite | Minimal Travel | Business Casual Attire
