Job Description


Our client is currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer. 

Overview:
  • Designs Aircraft Structural components – Primary and Secondary Structure.
  • Must have experience with Engineering Change Processes such as Drawing Change Request, Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, etc.
  • Must have a complete understanding of ASME Y14.5 2009 and possesses a working knowledge in the use of GD&T
  • Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
  • Minimum 7 years engineering & design experience in aerospace industry
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD design tools and principals
  • Knowledge of Structural analysis
  • Familiarity with other engineering principles and other engineering fields
  • Knowledge and experience with products that are required to meet FAA standards.
  • Essential project management skills, including project planning and budget evaluations
Pay Range:
  • $80 – 120K, depending on experience
