Job Description


We have an immediate opening for a Senior Civil Engineer in Decatur, GA to join a growing land development team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate directly with clients, permitting agencies, and internal teams.


Key Highlights:

  • Pay: $90,000–$110,000+ (DOE)

  • Location: Decatur, GA (hybrid schedule available)

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

  • Type: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage land development projects from planning through permitting.

  • Deliver high-quality civil designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local agencies to ensure timely project delivery.

  • Provide technical oversight, mentor junior staff, and uphold QA/QC standards.

  • Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans.

  • Review jurisdictional codes, design standards, and construction documents for compliance.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering required.

  • 6–10 years of experience in civil site design and project management.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and HydraFlow.

  • GSWCC Level II certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
