Job Description

Selectek is seeking a Senior CAD Technician to assist engineers and designers with preparation of construction plans for municipal, county and private development projects.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leading the CAD drafting and modeling of site civil, coastal, and land development projects in the FL region
  • Assist project teams in meeting schedules and deadlines
  • Adherence to CAD standards and aid in the development of implementing company CAD and design standards and workflows
  • Production of construction documents to include permit drawings, presentation graphics, and as-built surveys
  • Mentoring other Technicians
  • Reviewing new technology for use at the company
Required:
  • An Associate's degree in CAD Drafting/Engineering Technology preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of related CAD experience related to coastal engineering projects such as seawall design, beach nourishment, coastal structures, coastal restoration, drainage and flood control, and coastal impact assessments
  • Proficient in Civil3D.  Experience with 3D modeling and surfaces is desired
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat highly preferred, along with survey data processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay range: $40 - $46/hr depending on experience (direct hire)
