We are seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join a growing Mission Critical team in Houston, TX. This role will support the design and delivery of complex data center and infrastructure projects, working closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, detail-oriented, and excited to work on technically demanding, large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with site planning and space planning in collaboration with construction project managers
  • Research and apply building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements
  • Develop presentation drawings, diagrams, and renderings to communicate design intent
  • Review project scope and coordinate closely with project managers and consultants
  • Produce architectural documents for permit submittals and construction
  • Coordinate and review construction documents across multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop conceptual and preliminary designs into detailed construction documents
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in architectural design
  • Strong ability to produce both presentation drawings and construction documents
  • Proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Strong understanding of building design and documentation processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mission-critical or data center projects (preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling/rendering tools such as Lumion or SketchUp
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, etc.)
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Work on high-impact mission-critical and data center projects
  • Join a growing division with a strong project pipeline
  • Be part of an integrated design-build environment under ARCO
  • Exposure to large-scale, complex developments
