Position: Senior Architectural Designer 
Locations: Philadelphia, PA; Charlotte, NC; Tampa, FL 
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Our client, a leading architecture firm, is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to lead design and execution across diverse projects, including residential and commercial developments. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in architectural design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the schematic design phase for projects, including single-family homes, multi-family buildings, and commercial/mixed-use developments.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and budget, translating them into innovative and functional design solutions.
- Develop detailed architectural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Stay informed about industry trends and materials to integrate innovative solutions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Support production staff by resolving project design issues.
- Engage in new business development to support the firm's growth.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent; Licensed Architect preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in residential architectural design with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in hand-drawing, 3D visualization, and graphic presentation software.
- Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp, with adaptability to new software.
- Experience working on diverse project types and architectural styles.
- Excellent problem-solving and independent thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Confidence in making presentations to clients and governing bodies.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
- Understanding of site planning concepts and design standards.
