Selectek is seeking experienced Licensed Architects for a partnering company in the Birmingham, Alabama area. This firm focuses on large-scale manufacturing projects, and potential candidates will be designing state-of-the-art industrial facilities for some of the world’s leading companies.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Expected Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually, based on experience
This firm offers a hybrid schedule of two days working from home each week.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect with NCARB certification in hand
- 8+ years of experience in design, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Ideal candidates have LEED project certification and automotive, battery plant, or pharmaceutical production project experience
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Duties:
- Lead projects and work with other senior-level Architects
- Create exciting and complex designs that incorporate the latest design techniques
- Evaluate and select building materials, systems, and project design methods
- Devise new approaches and develop adaptations to problems encountered
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate mechanical and electrical systems
- Oversee drafting efforts and check portions of completed drawings
- Travel to job sites as required
