Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Louisville, Kentucky to fill a Safety Coordinator role to lead and implement safety training/protocols for a manufacturing/fabrication company. 

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Expected Pay Range: $36 - $40 per hour, depending on certification and experience. Travel pay/per diem available in addition to standard pay. 
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible start/end times

Job Requirements:
•    5 plus years of leadership in Safety in a Construction or Industrial setting
•    OSHA 1926 and/or MSHA 48B instructors cards preferred or achievable within 3-5 years.
 
In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:
•    Execute periodic OSHA & MSHA training for new hire candidates and existing crew refresher courses. 
•    Provide input to sales in the job quoting process to ensure adequate safety considerations are met. 
•    Maintain 3rd party safety training compliance sites. (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe, etc.) 
•    Audit district personnel to ensure OSHA & MSHA training compliance. 
•    Research, implement and communicate the most current alerts and guidance from OSHA & MSHA. 
•    Travel as necessary to support district job planning, employee training and audits. 
•    Serve as resident expert regarding safety compliance at and customer sites. 
•    Manage and control costs of safety program. 
•    Fulfill First Aid and Introductory Rigging training requirements for crew. 
•    Identification of and maintenance of inventory of safety training materials
