SCADA Technical Support Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a SCADA Support Specialist for an exciting opportunity in Tucker, GA. This role offers a chance to work directly in high-voltage power environments, supporting the operations of SCADA systems, metering, and substation controls for a leading utility provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for control centers and field agents installing and maintaining SCADA systems
  • Troubleshoot communication protocols between IEDs (DNP3.0 required; Modbus a plus)
  • Assist with commissioning RTUs, Data Concentrators, and related IEDs (GE D20 and SEL-RTAC experience preferred)
  • Support operations of revenue metering systems
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • 1–3 years of experience in a utility or power environment
  • Strong understanding of SCADA functionality, metering, and electrical distribution systems
Details:
  • Pay Rate: $50–$70/hr (W2)
  • Location: On-site in Tucker, GA (30084)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM (some flexibility)
  • Term: 12-month contract (likely extension)
  • Travel: Minimal to none
  • Start Date: ASAP (pending interview timeline)
