Selectek has a full-time opportunity with a Pittsburgh-based automation leader for a driven Robotic Sales Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to connect with customers across diverse industries and develop innovative solutions that transform their operations.

What You'll Do:
  • Be a champion, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in industries like automotive, aerospace, and more.
  • Partner with customers to understand their needs and translate them into customized robotic cell proposals and quotations.
  • Dazzle clients with clear and compelling sales presentations, both virtually and on-site.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to design and refine cutting-edge automation solutions.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to perform robot reach studies and simulations using Fanuc Roboguide software (experience a plus!).
  • Manage your day effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain meticulous activity logs and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for continued success.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds a degree in automation, mechanical, robotics, or electrical engineering (preferred).
  • Possesses a deep understanding of robotics technology and its mechanical applications.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment while excelling at independent work.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – to effectively connect with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • A go-getter with a genuine enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities.

Bonus Points:
  • Experience in estimating costs for custom-engineered solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting concept drawings or adapting existing automation cells.
  • Prior experience with Fanuc robotics and Roboguide software is a plus.
