Job Description

Selectek is seeking a dynamic Robotic Sales Engineer to join our client’s team in Monroeville, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and mechanical background in robotics with a passion for sales and business development.

Required:
  • Preferred degree in automation, mechanical, robotics, or electrical engineering
  • Possess technical and mechanical expertise in the field of robotics
  • Experience in estimating costs for custom-engineered solutions
  • Ability to create and interpret concept drawings or adapt existing automation cells as necessary
  • Technical writing capabilities
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor
  • Display a keen enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
  • Able to conduct robot reach studies
  • Can perform robot simulations using Fanuc Roboguide software
  • Experience in estimating costs for custom-engineered solutions
  • Ability to create and interpret concept drawings or adapt existing automation cells as necessary
  • Ability to participate in customer meetings and perform sales presentations

Sponsorship: No (needs to be US citizen) 
Pay range: $90,000 - $110,000 (will consider higher for more experience) 
Pay method when direct: Salaried (ability to earn OT based on commissioning work)
Location of job: Monroeville, PA
Hours and shift: Monday – Friday flexible dayshift hours
Work from home/remote: No
Overtime expected: No
Travel: Some travel required (not specified depends on job)
Work attire: Business Casual
