Position: Roadway Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote candidates will be considered)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Roadway Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing infrastructure engineering firm. This key role involves building and leading a team of professionals while managing and expanding client relationships across Georgia and the southeastern U.S. You will be responsible for a range of transportation engineering tasks, including highway design, alternative solution analysis, and project management. A solid understanding of AASHTO, state, and local design criteria is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company to existing and potential clients.
  • Engage with clients to secure and execute projects.
  • Negotiate and oversee project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Provide senior-level engineering expertise on various projects.
  • Develop detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Supervise and review the work of project staff.
  • Document the design process and maintain clear communication.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
  • 8–15 years of progressive experience in engineering services, including highway engineering, business development, and project delivery.
  • Georgia P.E. license or the ability to obtain one within six months.
  • Proficiency in Microstation, Geopak, and Open Roads.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong proposal writing skills.
  • Experience in drainage design.
