We are seeking a Roadway Design Engineer in Raleigh, NC.
 
Pay Rate: $40.86/hr - $57.69/hr

Work From Home/Remote: Hybrid

Job Description:
  • Design Roadway projects from concept to final design
  • Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare bid packages.
  • Work and coordinate design activities with design staff, subcontractors, and clients. 
Job Duties:
  • Perform engineering design tasks for roadway projects from preliminary to final design.
  • Develop specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages.
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans (including but not limited to implementation and knowledge of cross sections, traffic control, drainage, and signing and pavement markings plans.
  • Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff, subcontractors, and client managers
Requirements:
  • 4 plus years of experience in roadway design in NC or OH
  • NCDOT OR ODOT experience
  • BS Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of Civil 3d, Geopak, MicroStation, Open Roads CAD software
