Job Description


We are currently working with a client to find a Quality Engineer in Bloomfield, CT. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. Base Salary is estimated at 80-85K+, depending on experience.
POSITION SUMMARY
  • Work performed in both office and manufacturing environment, including work with process chemicals
  • Some limited travel to support Sales, Customer and Projects
  • Light lifting up to 40 pounds

Required:
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field,
  • 3-5 Years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • High degree of computer literacy; specifically MS Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and convey issues.
  • Able to participate in technical discussions and work in a collaborative close knit team environment
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 and/or other Quality System Standards
  • Knowledge of statistical quality assurance techniques and tools
  • Highly Motivated with a drive for results.

Preferred:
  • Chemistry Experience desirable
  • VBA and SQL familiarity desirable
  • Lean Six Sigma is a PLUS but not required.
