Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC & Commissioning Manager to lead quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning activities for large-scale data center projects. This role is critical to ensuring that electrical distribution systems—particularly Power Distribution Cabinets (PDCs)—are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with design specifications, industry standards, and operational readiness requirements.

You will oversee QA/QC compliance, manage commissioning phases, and deliver complete documentation to support successful energization and project handover.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
  • Develop, implement, and enforce QA/QC plans for electrical equipment and installations.
  • Oversee inspections including material receipt verification, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), end-of-line checks, and installation verification.
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards through audits and visual inspections.
  • Track deficiencies, manage corrective actions, and drive final acceptance closeout.
Commissioning Management
  • Plan and execute commissioning phases, including L2 Pre-Start-Up and L3 Start-Up, for PDCs and associated electrical systems.
  • Coordinate site readiness activities such as cable terminations, labeling, housekeeping, and debris removal.
  • Supervise functional testing, whip checks, load bank testing, and energization procedures.
  • Ensure all commissioning documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
Risk & Compliance
  • Enforce strict adherence to LOTO, energization, and electrical safety protocols.
  • Validate completion of foreign object debris (FOD) inspections prior to energization.
  • Confirm system readiness through multi-party site walks and formal compliance checks.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between construction teams, vendors, and commissioning agents.
  • Schedule and manage commissioning resources, including off-hours or weekend work when required.
  • Provide technical leadership and resolve issues impacting quality, safety, or commissioning timelines.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience leading QA/QC and commissioning efforts on large-scale data center or industrial projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PDCs, and testing protocols.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and commissioning documentation practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Core Competencies
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders and aggressive schedules.
  • Skilled at interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Proficient in QA/QC reporting tools and commissioning documentation workflows.

Why This Role
This is a high-impact opportunity to support mission-critical data center infrastructure projects within a well-established digital infrastructure group known for delivering complex, high-reliability environments. You’ll play a key role in ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational from day one.
