Project Manager – Civil & Geotechnical Engineering
Location: Nashville, TN

An established civil and geotechnical engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to lead and grow operations in Nashville, TN. This individual will play a key role in developing and expanding services across civil, transportation, airport, and construction inspection/testing projects.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage civil, transportation, airport, and materials testing projects

  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and execution

  • Prepare proposals and manage existing client projects to ensure high-quality delivery

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while driving business growth in the Nashville market

  • Supervise and support field and laboratory staff, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure adherence to ASTM, AASHTO, and Tennessee DOT standards

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to technical and project staff
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (required)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, transportation, airport, or construction materials testing (CMT)

  • In-depth knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, TDOT, and CMT standards and practices

  • Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong business development acumen with experience in client relationship management
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience building or expanding a regional office or business unit

  • Strong network within the Nashville and Tennessee civil engineering/transportation market
