Project Manager – Architecture & Design
Location: Madison, WI or Waukesha, WI (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a collaborative, integrated team of design professionals. In this role, you will oversee the planning and design phases of a wide variety of complex and exciting projects across commercial, science & technology, higher education, and civic + cultural sectors.
Reporting to a Principal-In-Charge, you will leverage advanced project management techniques to lead teams of all sizes and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of medium to large-scale projects.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project status.
  • Collaborate with design teams to uphold design integrity while aligning with project budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Review project invoices monthly and ensure financial accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, contracts, and construction detailing requirements.
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (professional registration such as AIA, NCARB preferred).
  • 7+ years of project management experience leading medium to large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, contracts, and construction documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote).
  • Familiarity with design and production software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively and deliver projects to completion.
Additional Details
  • Hybrid schedule preferred: candidates must be within 60 miles of Madison or Waukesha, WI.
  • Relocation assistance is not available at this time.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position with competitive salary and benefits.
