Project Engineer (Water Resource)

Job Description

Selectek is looking for a Water Resource Project Engineer to begin working with a great client of ours in the Fairfax, VA area immediately. This candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing effective drainage systems to ensure efficient conveyance and management of stormwater.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Required by Client
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer supporting transportation projects
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of drainage design, H&H modeling, and stormwater management
  • Proficient with industry software: MicroStation, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD, Civil3d, InletSoft, PipeSoft, CulvertSoft
  • Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred by Client
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Experience with OpenRoads Designer
  • Experience supporting VDOT and other local Virginia agencies

Pay Rate: $104k - $110k
Term: Direct Hire
Location: Fairfax, VA 22033
