Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Project Design Engineer. This role will utilize Inventor to create fabrication drawings for industrial equipment. The role will work closely with the manufacturers to ensure all standards and quality are met during the manufacturing process. In addition, this role will assist with the installation and training for the equipment at the end clients job sites as needed.

The Project Design Engineer is responsible for using Inventor to produce detailed drawings for steel fabricators, steel erectors, and other clients. The job duties include developing thorough plans that include drawings, BOMs, and other design documents. These documents are then used by fabricators and builders in their construction and/or installation process.

Job Responsibilities/Description:
  • Creates general arrangement drawings
  • Creates detailed manufacturing drawings from general arrangement drawings
  • Creates material bill of materials
  • Communicate directly with manufacturing to maintain project timeline
  • Responsible for other tasks as assigned
Required:
  • BSME or BSMET degree
  • 5+ years of project and design experience for industrial or wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Experience creating fabrication drawings and working with manufacturers to ensure equipment is created successfully.
  • Inventor proficiency
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred:
  • ISO 9000 experience or certifications
  • Experience creating drawings for actuators

Need an engineer used to working with Industrial or Wastewater equipment design and releasing to a fabrication team. Need someone that can work the project through to installation.
Inventor skills are a must.

Sponsorship: No, candidates must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Pay range: $37/hour - $50/hour ($76,000 - $104,000 annual salary)
Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct
Pay method when direct: Salary, No OT pay.
Location of job:  Alpharetta, GA 30005
Hours and shift: Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM
Work from home/remote:  No
Overtime expected: None
Travel: Could be up to 30 percent at times in the Continental U.S. and Canada. They would go out to help with start-up and training on the equipment
Work attire: Business casual or casual (jeans, tennis shoes, collared shirts/blouses)
