We have an opening for a  Project Coordinator in Decatur, GA. 
In this role you will work to assist teams with the coordination of ongoing projects, permitting, schedules, meetings, and information. You will organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management
  • Assisting Engineers /  Architects or related field: 3 Years minimum
Job Duties:
You will be in charge of assisting our teams in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project permits, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
To be successful as a Project Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. 
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, and budgets.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in team and client meetings.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Coordination with municipalities and monitoring/tracking permits for project.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable to team and client.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Ability to be mobile (must have own transportation) and run around town as needed to pick up and deliver project documents.
Previous experience in Civil or Architectural Engineering firm helpful
