Job Description
Selectek has an immediate need for a Project Architect in the Denver, CO area. In this position as a Project Architect, you will lead the architectural design team with projects in fields, such as: higher education, K – 12, recreation, and controlled-environment agriculture (including the cannabis industry).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project documents
- Coordinate with team members and outside consultants
- Review drawings and other project information to write and edit project specifications.
- Concept-to-completion of complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
- Coordinates with Director and Department Head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies
- Apply advanced architectural concepts and designs
- Directly present to the client on technical and design solutions
- Oversee a medium staff of architects and technicians and provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
- Prepare project documents, building code research, and documentation of requirements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of
- Bachelor's Degree from ABA accredited institution
- Licensed Professional certification required
- Working knowledge and proficiency with design software (Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, SketchUP, Bluebeam)
- Comprehend construction systems and methods
- Understand documentation and production with instruments of service
- Develop, organize, and review building plans
