Job Description

Our client has a need for an administrative assistant to act as a Project Administrator for one of our local clients in the oil and gas industry. This role will Assist with administrative and clerical duties in support of the Project Manager function by completing required documents. Project Administrator will compile, organize, analyze, maintain, update, and report all project information, data, and progress.

Job Requirements:
  • Facilitate and centralize reporting and data management and the systematization of project information.
  • Assist in the tracking and trending of information and generation of reports.
  • Compile data and develop forecasts to keep project progress on target.
  • Responsible for updates and administrative actions associated with SharePoint portal.
  • Work cooperatively with management to ensure timelines and workloads are met.
  • Prepare all necessary documents and reports as required.
  • Attend team meetings as required.
  • Demonstrate efficiency in writing and understanding verbal and written communications, including, but not limited to, e-mail.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism. including, but not limited to, other employees, all levels of management, vendors and customers.
  • Demonstrate ability to speak clearly in person and via telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listening carefully.
  • Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Office applications and database software, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Must demonstrate excellent writing, oral, analytical and communication skills.
  • Must be able to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict and simultaneous deadlines.
  • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.
  • Must demonstrate ability to plan, organize and utilize project management skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and function with limited supervision at times.
  • Must be able to work autonomously as situation dictates.
  • Must maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of job performance.
  • 2 plus years hands on experience working in an administrative capacity in a fast paced office/professional environment.
Pay Rate:
  • $25.50/HR
