Job Description
Our client in Chandler, AZ is looking for a (Remote) Process Piping Lead to assist in the design of microelectronics manufacturing facilities.

Required:
- 5+ years leading a piping team
- Experience developing resource loaders, managing teams to delivery schedules, and facilitating resolution of design challenges for the piping team
- Ideal candidate will have 15+ years experience in layout of process and mechanical equipment and associated piping design
- Must be well organized with strong communication skills
- Ideal candidate will have recent experience and be a knowledgeable user of Cadworx 3D design software and Navisworks
- Experience with process mechanical piping systems, industrial waste and high purity water systems a plus
- Microelectronics experience a plus
- Experience with pipe installation details and pipe supports, a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred instead of required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and coordinate the work of sub-leads and piping designers to ensure project execution with high design quality
- Manage delivery schedule including escalation to project managers when schedule is at jeopardy
- Support piping design team and facilitate resolution of design challenges
- Develop resource loaders to predict budget burn rate and overall estimate to complete work
- Coordinate design with other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) to ensure success of project
- Position may also require field support activities on client site including site walks
- Will be working with an engineering design team on high-tech industrial manufacturing facility projects
