Job Description

Our client has the need for a Process Engineer that will join their team and ensure that equipment is designed and supplied to their current standards. The position will support the project management team and work closely with them to ensure client needs are met.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reviews the sales, application and project engineering documentation on projects.
  • Creates and maintains project P&IDs in Plant P&ID.
  • Works with project team on equipment and instrumentation selection.
  • Prepare other project related documentation including:
      • Data Sheets
      • Utility Consumption List
      • Burner Sizing
      • Fan Selection
      • Pump Selection
      • Control Valve Selection
      • Fuel Train Sizing
  • Attend project meetings as required.
  • Assist in the development of department standards, procedures and sizing worksheets to increase department output and efficiency.
  • Assists in new product development and designs as required.

Required:
  • BS Degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • 3 Plus year as a Process Engineer for Industrial projects
  • Experience creating P&ID Drawings
Preferred:
  • A strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
