Direct, Full-Time Hire *Pre-construction Manager* career opportunity in Alpharetta, GA with a leader in the concrete construction industry!
This pivotal role involves leading the initial planning phases of construction projects, ensuring feasibility, accurate budgeting, risk management, and compliance.
Position Highlights:
  • Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005
  • Schedule: Monday—Friday, ~ 8 AM—5 PM
  • Employment Type: Direct (FTE) Hire
  • Compensation: ~ +/- $90--$120k/yr [paid hourly: ~ +/-$43--$58/hr] + great benefits!
  • Overtime: Occasionally
  • Travel: Not required
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies assessing environmental impacts, resource availability, and regulatory constraints
  • Develop accurate budget forecasts ensuring financial discipline
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks early in the planning process
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to optimize project plans
  • Manage selection and negotiations with subcontractors and vendors
  • Create detailed project timelines coordinating all preconstruction activities
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, managing permits
  • Implement sustainable construction practices aligned with environmental standards
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
  • Utilize advanced construction technologies for planning accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 12 years of experience in the construction industry, focusing on commercial concrete projects
  • Minimum of 5 years in a preconstruction management role with proven project leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam Familiarity with Revit is beneficial
  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills capable of building effective relationships and leading teams
