Job Description


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Plumbing Designer to provide engineering and design support for a variety of commercial, municipal, and institutional projects. This role includes full lifecycle involvement, from preliminary design and code compliance to construction documentation and field verification. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing system design and strong proficiency with Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design domestic water systems, sanitary waste and vent, stormwater piping, and fire protection systems

  • Conduct site visits for surveys, verify field conditions, and gather design data

  • Develop construction documents including calculations, drawings, schematics, and technical details

  • Ensure all designs meet local and national plumbing and building codes

  • Review contractor submittals for compliance with design documents

  • Perform field observation visits to confirm construction aligns with specifications

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)

  • 2–4 years of plumbing design experience, preferably in commercial or municipal settings

  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is essential

  • EIT certification is preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Details:

  • Some local travel required for site visits

  • Occasional overtime may be required

  • Business casual attire

  • Background check and drug screen required

  • No relocation or visa sponsorship available

  • Feedback on interviews typically provided within 24–48 hours

Location: Austell, GA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 base + bonus and stock options 
Work Schedule: Flexible start time between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM; 8-hour day
Work Environment: Onsite only – No remote or hybrid options
