Job Description
Selectek is looking for a Physical Substation Designer to begin working with a great client of ours in the Birmingham, AL area immediately. This candidate will be responsible for creating design drawings in 2D or 3D for Transmission and Distribution electrical Substations and supporting the design criteria and standardization efforts.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Requirements
Pay Rate: $26/hr - $33/hr
Term: 3-year contract

Requirements
- 5 or more years of related industry experience
- Understanding of electoral substation experience with experience in transmission and/or distribution substation operations for electric power utility firms
- Ability to create substation physical drawings for single line or three line diagram and the ability to manipulate 2D and 3D models for substations
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the United States
Pay Rate: $26/hr - $33/hr
