Job Description
Selectek is looking for a Designer with a background in the utility industry with experience in a physical design that has experience with substation physical design projects. This role will work closely with Engineers and Senior Designers to develop High-voltage substation engineering design packages for utility clients. It is expected that all applicants have experience in the utility industry and have a high voltage utility substation design background with civil/structural or electrical design skills using AutoCAD. The position will call for familiarity with NESC and voltage clearance requirements. All candidates should be able to read and understand electrical one-line drawings.

- 2 + years of excellent AutoCAD experience
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings such as single-line, three-line, panel front views, elementary and wiring diagrams for substations.
- Conduit and cable sizing and design, routing substation physical layout
- $22 - $25/HR
