Selectek is partnering with a firm based in Marietta, GA to hire a Panel Builder. This is a direct placement opportunity with a partner that designs and builds machinery for the food and beverage industry.Â

Location: Marietta, GA
Expected Pay Range: $55,000- $60,000 annual base
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00a-4:30p.Â
Required:
Hands-on experience in fabricating, building, wiring, testing, and inspecting control panels:Â
•   Ability to wire using elementaries and point to point wiring diagrams.Â
•   Skilled in providing mechanical build (layout of backplate, drilling, tapping, component layout)Â
•   Ability to use appropriate hand tools and power tools.Â
•   In-depth comprehension of common electrical components such as breakers, disconnect switches, starters, relays, timers, PLCs, VFDs, contactors, overloads, etc.Â
•   Excellent knowledge of UL508A and NEC. Experience building and inspecting panels to these standards.Â
•   Proficient understanding of circuits and industrial automation electronics.Â
•   Knowledge of applicable safety rules and procedures, including OSHA.Â
•   Strong attention to detail, with an ability to work carefully and accurately.Â
•   Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Â
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Details:
•   Fabricate, assemble, build, wire, and test industrial control panels.Â
•   Responsible for shop floor quality control, including inspection, testing, documentation, and UL certification requirements.Â
•   Check-in and track project material.Â
•   Communicate with shop supervisor, project managers, engineers, and customers to resolve issues.Â
•   Ensure internal and client defined standards and scope are maintained.Â
•   Assist with managing shop supplies and project inventory.Â
•   Performs other duties as required.Â
•   Analyze and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and physical layout drawings.Â
