Job Description
Selectek has an immediate need for a PLC Controls Engineer/Technician in the
Worcester, MA area. We are open to an entry-level BSEE, Associates with some relevant experience, and/or non-degreed with on-the-job PLC experience.

Job Summary:
- The position will require assisting in machine design.
- Developing electrical documentation
- Implements, tests, and supports software applications for PLC platforms.
- HMI and PLC development based on machine specification.
- Participate in the testing process through test review/performance/analysis and certification of software.
- Perform software maintenance on existing test fixtures.
- Develop training manuals as needed.
- Machine assembly: Will require assisting in the assembly of
proprietary equipment, and occasional travel to the customer site to assist in the installation/service of our products.
- Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, RSLogix), or BSEE, and/ or a combination of education and work experience.
- Team player who can work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-starter who works independently with minimal direction
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem solver in both team and independent environments
- Computer competency
- Graphical User Interface design/development (Allen Bradley family)
- Strong understanding/experience with test equipment.
- Strong understanding/experience in mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- $35/hr. $55/hr.
- Monday- Friday
- 8 AM- 5 PM
- 6 Months Temp to Perm
