Job Description
Our client in Verona, WI is looking for a PLC Service Technician to contribute to the overall success of the company and our customers through technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure superior service.
Required:
- Proven strong aptitude with computers and learning new systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming
- Proven experience working effectively in a team environment
- Required excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees
- Working knowledge of all MS Office applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Ability to perform basic mechanical adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Support installation of equipment and equipment startup at customer’s sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC’s, robots, HMIs, and vision system software.
- Redline electrical and mechanical documentation.
- Backup and manage machine software.
- Execute testing and run off parameters to verify machine operating as designed.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors and employees.
