Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company located near Santa Clara, California to fill a PLC Programmer role on a direct-hire basis. This client serves large manufacturing clients by designing, configuring and integrating gas detection and chemical dispensing control systems.  

Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $95,000 - $110,000 depending on certification and experience
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience of PLC programming
- Proficient with multiple ecosystems including Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE

In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.

Job Details:
- Programming, troubleshooting, and debugging PLC systems
- Create and read logic/flow diagrams for program design, set-up, testing and commissioning  
- Read and modify electrical control schematics
- Modify existing programs to meet customer specifications
- Provide after-market support, including over-the-phone troubleshooting and parts ordering

Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal business hours. This role requires local travel only.
