Job Title: PCB/SMT Test Technician
Our client, a global leader in digital displays, has a full-time opportunity for a PCB/SMT Test Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and programming completed circuit boards according to established test procedures. This role involves reading schematics, basic electronics troubleshooting, and providing feedback to software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the area supervisor to understand daily priorities.
- Self-manage product priorities to meet the needs of the next work area.
- Maintain and check job-related tools and supplies; request additional supplies as needed.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, stress, system, validation, reliability, and engineering-directed tests.
- Test and troubleshoot both existing products and new developments following defined testing procedures.
- Collaborate with software development and engineering teams to report and resolve product issues quickly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, both verbally and in writing, including reporting unusual circumstances, changes in procedures, or other pertinent information.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with computers (PC, Windows, Excel).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, self-directed environment, document detailed results, and communicate symptoms to engineers.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough in task completion.
- Ability to learn and document test procedures.
- Capable of maintaining productivity under strict deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Consistently seeks to improve product quality.
- Flexible with changing project schedules; overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in electronics quality or testing.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing.
