P.E. Structural Engineer 31408

Location: Alexandria, VA 22312 (or Boulder, CO)
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain clearance.
Salary: ~ $100--$115k+/yr

They work on projects for various industries, including federal and military sectors, ensuring high-quality structural solutions using advanced design software and comprehensive field surveys.

Job Description:
  • Analyze and design structural systems for various building materials using different codes
  • Conduct field surveys and document existing conditions
  • Coordinate with architects and other engineers
  • Review and evaluate existing structural systems
  • Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Write comprehensive reports
  • Review construction submittals and participate in construction observation
  • Track billable hours
Requirements:
  • BSCE or Architectural Engineering
  • Licensed PE
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and industry structural engineering software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain secret clearance
Preferred:
  • Experience in AT FP (anti-terrorism/force protection)
  • PE in VA or DC
  • Federal and military project experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with Ajera
