Job Description

Seeking an OSP Permit Specialist to review and QC field survey data, prepare pole attachment and ROW permit documents, and submit to jurisdictional authorities. The role also involves updating tracking forms, file uploads, and managing submittal statuses. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and QC field survey data for accuracy in OSP permitting.
  • Prepare and submit pole attachment and ROW permit applications.
  • Create and update GIS maps using ArcMAP, ArcGIS, and Google Earth.
  • Edit and annotate PDFs for engineering documents.
  • Maintain tracking logs and upload permit-related files.
  • Compile reports using MS Excel and assist with project documentation.
  • Communicate with internal teams and external agencies regarding permitting processes.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Project management experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • GIS software proficiency (ArcMAP, ArcGIS).
  • Experience with land permitting and pole attachment permitting is a major plus.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional and detail-oriented.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check (7 years).
  • 10-panel drug screen required.
Location: Canton, GA (30115)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $25 - $35 per hour
Work Setup: Hybrid (Onsite first few weeks, then potential for WFH)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
