Job Description

We’re hiring a Fiber Designer for a 3-year, on-site contract in Chattanooga, TN. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major fiber optic infrastructure projects supporting overhead and underground networks.

Pay: $25–$28/HR (OT eligible)
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8–5 (some weekend work may be required)
Location: On-site only in Chattanooga, TN

You will:
  • Design FTTx, overhead, and underground fiber networks using AutoCAD
  • Create fiber splicing, mapping, and record-keeping documentation
  • Estimate materials/labor and support emergency restoration efforts
  • Interface with internal teams and external partners for project coordination
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of OSP fiber design experience
  • Strong AutoCAD skills
  • Knowledge of FTTx and OSP construction practices
  • CAD-related associate’s degree preferred

This is a contract-to-direct role with long-term stability and the opportunity to grow with a well-established engineering team.
