Network Device Provisioning Technician

Job Description

A Network Device Provisioning Technician to follow established procedures to provision and configure MikroTik, and Ubiquiti devices in alignment with project requirements
Required:
  • Must have deep level experience with Mikrotik and RouterOS in an enterprise environment
  • Proven track record in a Network Device Provisioning Technician role or similar capacity
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring MikroTik routers and switches
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, ISIS, OSPF, and BGP
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve network issues promptly and effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within a dynamic team environment
  • Preferred (not required) certifications include MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE), Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Job Responsibilities:
  • Methodically follow established procedures to provision and configure MikroTik, and Ubiquiti devices in alignment with project requirements
  • Precisely program MikroTik routers and switches, along with Ubiquiti products, to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager to understand network architecture and customer requirements
  • Diligently troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MikroTik, and Ubiquiti device configurations
  • Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and network topology to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and future maintenance
Pay Range: $25/hr. - $30/hr.
