Job Description


We are working with a client to find a Municipal Engineer to work on a wide variety of municipal infrastructure and site development projects including both office and fieldwork.

$28-39/hr
Contract to Direct

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of plans using Civil3D software including streets, sewers, and utilities
  • Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Construction observation of projects
  • Preparation of regulatory permits for projects
  • Preparation of technical reports for projects
  • Complete project administration for municipal projects including attending client meetings
  • Ability to get training and mentoring on project management and client liaison duties

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
  • Three years of prior civil or environmental engineering experience required
  • The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of previous municipal engineering or site development experience including both design and construction observation
  • Civil 3D experience preferred
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to work in a consulting environment
  • Successfully passed PE exam would be a plus
