We have an immediate need for a Mold Setup Technician in the Noblesville, Indiana area, working 3rd shift.
Job description:
Payrate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Term: 6 month contract to direct Hire

Job description:
- Setting up injection molding machines and all related equipment to allow the manufacture of product that meets or exceeds the established quality levels.
- Set up and program Ranger robot systems.
- Pull molds from injection molding machines.
- Perform quality checks twice per shift or as needed to ensure the highest level of quality.
- Set up of the molding machine and all related workstation equipment to process customer orders as necessary.
- Assures the correct support equipment and supplies are available at start up.
- Assists in establishing process parameters and helps assure that the process remains in control using the quality monitoring systems on the Arburg machinery.
- Assists in troubleshooting molding and or assembly issues to maintain part quality and meet standard production rates as needed.
- Assists in entering Downtime and Set Up information into Production Documentation sheets.
- Assists with all material handling functions such as material movement to and from the press, cleaning of grinders.
- Is observant and attentive to the condition of all equipment.
- Performs weekly and Monthly PM’s on time.
- Meets with the previous shift Set-up Technician to discuss any issues relating to the shop floor.
- Prepares for the mold changes by staging all necessary items to complete the set-up.
- Follows all departmental operational procedures relating to the set-up, operation, and shut down.
- Accurately enters end of shift emails to all necessary personnel to advise of how the plant is running and what to expect on the next shift.
- Thoroughly understands and exercises the authority to quarantine suspect product and seek disposition as necessary.
- Is observant and attentive to tooling, production, inspection, and support equipment that may cause a potential quality problem, and seeks assistance in making corrections.
- Ensures that the molding machine and workstation is properly set-up per the instructions found in the molding work instructions.
- Experience with setting up molding machines.
- Understands the process of Injection Molding
- Available to working OT.
- Able to work 3rd shift and consistently show up on-time for work.
- Pass a Technical Aptitude quiz to show understanding of Injection Molding processes, equipment and setup.
