Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Project Engineer for a full-time position in the Alpharetta, Georgia area.
Job DetailsÂ
o   Interfacing directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectationsÂ
o   Working with technical teams to generate proposals and project estimatesÂ
o   Ensure projects maintain scope scheduleÂ
o   Ensure projects stay within budgetÂ
o   Review edquipment specificationsÂ
o   Tracking project financials, schedules, status, and change managementÂ
o   Ensuring completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standardsÂ
o   Creating project plans that include schedules, milestones, controls, and risk management plansÂ
o   Supporting safety planning for Allnorth teamsÂ
o   Resolving performance, scope, and schedule issues as they ariseÂ
•   building business relationships with current and potential clientsÂ
•   Seeking continuous improvement opportunities to positively impact project and team performanceÂ
Requirements for Qualification:
•   Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but may consider non-degreed candidates with ample experienceÂ
•   5-10+ years of relevant experience, preferably from a consulting engineering background in industrial projects - such as chemical or pulp and paper (may take less)Â
•   Autocad Plant 3D is preferred (will not have to design - just need to know how to navigate within the software)Â
•   Pipeflow and/or Autoplant is a plus Â
•   Knowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for selecting an economic course of action or developing appropriate solutions and/or reaching conclusions, based on available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequencesÂ
•   EIT is a must, and a PE is preferred is possible Â
Compensation: $120,000Â - $150,000 annual salary.Â
Schedule:Â Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
