Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position near Greenville, South Carolina.
Job DetailsÂ
•   Independently evaluates, selects and applies engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to concurrent engineering projects. Applies engineering judgment in making adaptations and modifications to projects.Â
•   Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and RevitÂ
•   Possesses strong technical skills and understanding of interdisciplinary design processes.Â
•   Ability to organize and prioritize workload.Â
•   Proficient at leading Mechanical projects with multiple team membersÂ
•   Takes initiative to coordinate with other disciplines including Electrical, Structural, Architectural, and ProcessÂ
•   Matching the scope and deliverables to the project schedule and budgetÂ
•   Design of Industrial and Commercial HVAC systems such as Industrial Ventilation, Heating and Air Conditioning to meet Process and building needs, and dust collection.Â
•   Design of in Industrial and Commercial Mechanical utility systems such as chilled water, cooling tower water, heating water, steam and condensate, compressed air, natural gas, and waterÂ
•   Perform Mechanical calculations such as HVAC load calculation, and air and water pressure drop calculationsÂ
•   Generate drawing and specification packages for equipment and systems that are suitable for bidding and constructionÂ
Requirements for Qualification:
•   Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineeringÂ
•   EIT (PE Preferred)
•   A minimum of 5 years of experience HVAC Engineering for industrial, chemical, or manufacturing facility design.Â
•   Experience delivering projects utilizing AutoCAD and RevitÂ
CompensationÂ
$50.00-$67.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion.Â
ScheduleÂ
Monday-Friday, flexible on start/end times.Â
