Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position near Columbia, South Carolina.
Job Details
Candidates will be responsible for designing and engineering HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, healthcare, and education projects. On these projects, you will plan, coordinate, and direct medium to large-scale engineering projects or possibly multiple smaller, but more complex projects. Candidates will review 2D and 3D designs, calculate sizing and routing paths of ducts and pipes, and produce drawings from provided design data.
Requirements for Qualification:
5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Proficiency in Revit
Experience managing projects in Commercial, Healthcare, K-12, and Government facilities
Work history with International Building Code, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards
Compensation
$44.00-$53.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, flexible on start/end times. This firm offers a hybrid schedule of three days in the office, with two days working remotely.
